#113788 - Check my changes in connections Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi,
Thank you Kalpak sir for clearing out my confusion between the contrast and backlight. In the LCD i'm using, the backlight pins are 15(A) and 16(K) only. Now i've connected the backlight pins as follows(For NPN transistor): Emitter to GND, Collector to cathode, base to Port pin thro' 680R. The backlight is in the ON state when i passed both HIGH/LOW value to the port pin.The voltage at pin 15 is 5V and pin 16 is 0V in both the cases. Actually i thought of reducing the voltage at pin 15 to 0V,so that the LED an be turned OFF right. Is there any other method.. What should be done..Please clear out my problem. regards, veena. |
