Do you not understand that parity generation and checking is a calculation and not I/O?

Better I/O parity code (whatever that is), nope, never asked for it -- you made that up all on your own.

Better portable parity code, yes -- I'd like to have that for my bag of tricks.

Whether you need a better browser, better glasses, different medication, I don't know. I have observed you having difficulty following threads here and in other forums, but you are not going to drag me down your little thread-mixing rat hole.
