The EA line is grounded. This allows us to use 83C51s in this board. The 83C51s are from another project which got code upgrades and made these OTP parts unusable for anything but ROMless work.
It's most likely the internal memory differences are the culprits here. I'll have to look through the manuals next week, if time permits. Thanks, folks, Ken Jennejohn |
