A joke works once then ceases to have the same effect if used again
I see absolutely nothing funny here, but I do feel sad that there is such ignorance. Abbreviations, seem to take on as "words" and totally lose their meaning. If you consider "LCD" a word, then LCD display is legit, but since LCD is an abbreviation it is not. Why would I (a Dane) come out in defense of the English language, I do not. However, I feel saddened by the decline of the common courtesy of thinking more of the reader than the writer. Would you, Russel, please answer ASAP possible. Erik |
