#110751 - lpc932A1 eeprom corruption Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Jan to answer your question, the ICP pins are connected to an RS485 driver in the same circuit- no active external signals.
I have also observed that the corrupted eeprom had the same data in 2/3 occasions where I could check. However I rule out any software bug as the same software with the EEPROM write / read substituted with the I2C EEPROM access has been working without any problems. It looks as if I have simply invited trouble by trying to save on that part. As this board was designed with the C/G version and it took a whole lot of effort to overcome the other errata issues,I never took the risk of using the internal EEPROM. Now also, after this change we have had the unit running at our place for months before sending it to the field. Inspite of all this we see random failures in field. regards santhi |
