The VID and PID told windows you are a CP210x.
It asigned that driver to your device. It expects the proper asnswers to its questions. It expects you to say the right thing to it. You need to find out the CP210x protocol. If SiLab publishes it great, if not you can reverse enginner it. Look at the data sheets and appnotes for the CP210x. Or, see if there is an appnote for SiLabs C8051FXXX CPUs Otherwise you will have to roll your own. In which case you will need the windows DDK |
