The AT89C5131 can be programmed directly from the USB and doesn't use an RS232 adaptor. In programming mode it should appear as a device with a vendor code of 0x03EB (Atmel Corporation) and a product ID of 0x2FFD.
Koen, if you can't get a diagnostic program like usbview.exe to report these values then I think you should focus on hardware problems. |
