#109870 - Problem with USB to Serial Adapter Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I had a prolific USB to Serial Adapter that I Tried to us Flip with and was never successful. I tried all the drivers I could find. I open a terminal windows and Manual Typed the programming codes to the device. That worked. I got flip to generate some code and I pasted it into the terminal and That worked, But I could not get Flip to program directly to the device. I tried it on several different computers and the Native ports worked fine. I think my final conclusion was that something was wrong with the serial routines in FLIP. I tried every Fix I could find on the web. I spent about 2 weeks on the problem. Finally went back to a computer with the native com port. |
