There is an another option, you can have multiple branches of standard 32 unit-load transceivers; all of them fed from a single master/single port - all Tx's in parallel (of course "amplified" if needed) and Rx's ANDed together using a suitable 74xxyy gate, on the 5V side of the transceiver.
