I think (from memory) the VMX series are single clock, whilst the VRS are conventional 12-state. The former are also JTAG, whilst the VRS51C1xxx types are not. But they are about to release a VRS51C2xxx that IS JTAG. I assume it will still be conventional clocking. I hope so. Take a look at this:
