Local laws vary.

Buy and using is not copying. Buy a PC and put it inside a kiosk? not a problem in the US. Look in the manual of the item to see if it has any restrictions. Other rules may apply. Your "contract" with the other manufacterer. Does the final item compete with the maker? If not why would they care.

Remember all products are stuff with parts from oter companies.
