#108003 - When erik and oleg can spare time? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Forum Members,
Ian Bell wanted a circuit diagram in spite of my picture.I am afraid I will remain more experienced than others who are posting in this thread till erik malund or Oleg Sergeev joins the thread. However here is the failed circuit. http://www.8052.com/users/AsokRudra/ledanim1.gif Note that mmd4094.gif truely represents a commercial design which can deliver 250 characters. The failed circuit i.e. ledanim1.gif represents my code which can deliver only about 90 character but has speed variations and PC Serial port Interfacing on top of PCAT keyboard interfacing. Please note the use of ULN2xxx in the commercial one and that both the circuits can utilise the same code with very little modifications(assuming both uses the AT24Cxx series serial eeproms). What I mean is that it is possible to use almost the same code for the two different types of shift registers with and without drivers. Looking forward to welcome erik malund and/or oleg when they have time. Regards. Rudra |
