Santosh, The Pair L297 + L298 have large footprints and requires heatsink. It is very old design. You can use Allegro A3980. The datasheet is on the link: www.allegromicro.com/datafile/3980.pdf I have using this for year now and it is replacement for L297-298 pair. It is very good solution. Regards, Aron |
