#106850 - old code Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Steve,
Well you see, there's this dog that ate my .... Unfortunately, I don't have the old version because I edited it and it is now this version. Okay everybody, leave this one for Erik to chide me about. I have been trying to figure out what I did differently this time. I added the part about (G)ain. Of course I don't think that change will cause this problem, especially since I don't have to run the (G)ain routine in order to see this problem. Nonetheless, along this line of reasoning I've been trying to figure out if I may have inadvertently deleted some linker/definition file. When I run the debugging simulation, the little window for Port 0 shows two sets of bits. One set is the port register and the other is the port pins. That they provide two separate bit sets indicates that it is known (by everyone else apparently) that the two can have different values. What then is necessary in order to ensure that the two have the same value? These are the questions that I believe are going to lead to the solution of this problem. |
