#106388 - Crystal Load Capacitance (redux) |
The ds89c420 from maxim-ic states:
Maximum load capacitance (to meet the above timing) for Port 0, ALE, PSEN, WR, and RD is limited to 60pF. XTAL1 and XTAL2 load capacitance is dependent on the frequency of the selected crystal. So, if they require 18pf caps on the crystal to ground line, what capacitance crystal s/b be purchased? They come from serial to 32pf (see post http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=106383) |
