If it's Athlon850 it's hardly 10 years old, is it?
A few weeks ago I threw away Acrobat Reader (I had v4 and it stopped searching mysteriously; the new versions got too big and too agressive), I am using Foxit PDF reader http://www.foxitsoftware.com/ . It's far from being perfect, but is at least not a gigabyte package - maybe worth trying. Another aletrnative is the ghostscript/ghostgum combination, but it is too clumsy so I'm really using it only for reading postscript files. Jan Waclawek PS. Andy, are you running Acrobat Reader on Win3.1? |
