While the bible routine works great for all of you, you have
to understand that a large document (even assuming it could be
opened on this computer) is usually somewhat intimidating, at
least for me. I want to learn all I can, but when I open a doc
whether it be for the 8051 or for LCD timing routines, I find
that often I feel like a senior citizen trying to learn how to
check my e-mail. Its overwhelming, to say the least.

I believe that the "bible" is just too much for me, yet most ppl
who are seasoned with the 8051 love it. Sometimes I panic that
a few people in these forums are actually worshipping it as if
it were indeed a real religous relic. I'm in need of the bible
for kids, with colored pictures they give to Sunday school kids.

I find (and this goes out to Craig) that the tutorials on this
site are very well organized and do a great job of explaination
for specific subjects. Craig has them layed out very well, with
annodotes and comments which even *I* can follow. Using these
tutorials has helped me get rs232 as well as LCDs working.

But alas, if we all memorized and understood "the bible", this
forum would not exist now, would it?
