#187550 - Update : ATDH1150VPC Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Seems there are two USB cables, and the ATDH1150VPC (CPLD-ISP MV) seems newer / more available. Quest show stocks @ $45
This is the current Atmel ISP software v6.7, and the Cable and devices list. http://www.atmel.com/Images/AtmelISP.zip Atmel CPLD-ISP MV: [ATDH1150VPC] Atmel CPLD ISP Cable Rev 6.x ::ATF15xxBE, ATF15xxRE, ATF15xxAS(L), ATF15xxASV(L) Atmel ATDH1150USB: Atmel USB version of the JTAG ISP Cable Rev 1.x :: ATF15xxBE, ATF15xxRE, ATF15xxAS(L), ATF15xxASV(L) Atmel CPLD-ISP: Atmel CPLD ISP Cable Rev 5.0 and older :: ATF15xxAS(L), ATF15xxASV(L) ByteBlaster 2: ByteBlaster II JTAG download cable is offered by Altera :: ATF15xxBE, ATF15xxRE, ATF15xxAS(L), ATF15xxASV(L) ByteBlasterMV: ByteBlasterMV JTAG download cable is offered by Altera :: ATF15xxAS(L), ATF15xxASV(L) I think there is a Parallel port ByteBlaster 2 clone circuit here: http://ad7gd.net/flex/ linked from http://compgroups.net/comp.arch...ter/237961 Tho I would change from 2 x HC244, to a more correct Wide-Dual-Supply 2 x SN74LVC8T245 to ensure the Parallel Data does not sneak thru parasitic diodes. A SN74LVC2244A may also work, & includes the series terminators. |
