| first of all, there once was a product that "networked" two PC's, at least to the extent that they could share hard disks.  It used a parallel port and a 25-conductor cable.
 Aside from that, the FTDI FIFO-based USB interface (FT245?) might be just the thing for you. It's easy to use and readily adaptable to a parallel port. RE |
