I guess it could be instructive if you have the kind of patience, determination, commitment, tennacious mind and attention to detail of a detective. Otherwise, I think you would be far better off researching source materials - ie, books, manuals, articles, web sites, etc - that actually describe or define the formats of binary files. You really need to understand what going on first; to enable you to make sense of what the disassembler tells you - and its limitations. |
