You wouldn't learn a lot about FPGAs or programmable logic, as that's all hidden behind the FastChip "softmodules" If you just wanted to learn about the 8051, then all the Triscend stuff is just a whole bunch of unnecessary (and quite significant) complication. At this point, I really would not recommend Triscend as a learning platform for anything, I'm afraid. Triscend really is of historical interest only now. :-(  |
