So, although I was a great fan of Triscend (just search this forum to see!), I would most strongly recommend that you do not start anything based on Triscend products or software. :-( I recently attended a seminar about the Actel SmartFusion - and couldn't help getting the feeling throughout that this is Triscend reborn (with added analogue). If you want something with a "hard" processor and FPGA, I think that would certainly be worth a look...
