#174581 - But how will i know that data is getting written to the vari Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"You should focus your initial work on making small steps such as producing simple code that writes and reads various registers inside the GLCD controller chip. - Michael Karas"
But how will i know that data is getting written to the various registers of the GLCD controller? To correct the connections of the data lines, i am redesigning the PCB. Until the new PCB gets etched and the components get soldered, i am using the old PCB. i rechecked the port pins of the microcontroller using a simple square wave generator program. they are working fine. i also changed the contrast. but nothing happened. i spoke to my mentor. he says that maybe the data is not getting written to the right place. Please tell me if my code is faulty. |
