I have used the 9513 device in numerous projects. Most often it was on an ISA plug in timer board and wired up outside the PC via a DC-37 connector. It offered 5 channels of timer. Some of the plug in boards also offered 8 bits of discrete I/O. You are correct that this was a very nice timer. I'll look at it but I wonder if it even makes sense any more as it was in a huge DIP package and ran on 5V. Michael Karas |
