I was trying to make the point that if one was to add circuitry in a possible failsafe event.... couldn't one just use another power source that is of the same size as the added circuitry (knowing that a battery has a shelf life)? They would just replace both batteries. If I were doing this, I would probably build both to see the pros and cons of both. I think the extra battery might be a little bigger, but I also think the LED would be flashing brighter for longer. |
