the on-resistance is typically 5.8R (10R maximum) at Vcc=5V. Should be low enough for switching 4k7, 2k4 and 1k2 resistors, shouldn't it??

My point was not to suggest that the NXP part's on-resistance was too high, but, rather, merely to point out that there were other, similar, options available.
