This is just to report that Gary Peek's Term232 flawlessly received and stored half a megabyte data at 115200 (with HW handshake on of course), on a PIII/866 with onboard UART and W98SE.
Hyperterminal, and my favorites, Terminal by Bray and TeraTerm (and a few other which I already forgot as they were worthless) all fail on this, so I consider it a significant diehard benchmark... JW |
