Anyhow, Suresh, I had a look and are you sure that what you are making is not gross overkill.

The bounce tester can be implemented in a (fast?) '51 fairly easy (2-3 days of coding) all the other stuff could be replaced by a imple RS-232 connection to the PC.

If I am missing something with the above, please clear it up.
