| Deliberatly introducing a logic race condition so as to produce an output pulse which corresponded to the propagation delay of a single  not gate which is in the order of a few nano seconds or so depending on the logic family.
 Its doable in descrete logic but not in a PAL because the logic compiler will spot the glitch and try to factor it out. |
