3 V is the Min. supply of the Circuit. It may be supplied by Li-ion (3.4-3.7V) or by two Alkaline AAs (2.8-3.2V) or by 3 AA Ni-Cds/MHs (3.1-3.7V).
There is a great variation in input voltage ,This is where the MC34063 takes care and acts as a Voltage stabilizer and Step up converter. Farshid |
