on backup (and restore).
One, oftem forgotten issue of backup is to make sure you can restore from the backup media. I recall one inccident when a backup tape was not readable when it was needed. The means of verifying a backup will, of course, depend on what you have available, but if you have an old 133MHz clunker sitting unused in a corner, it might be an idea to restore to that one once in a while.
