If your building burns down, you don't just need a backup of your work - you also need a new PC and all the applications and settings, etc before you can get back to work. This is particularly important if you are relying on obsolete tools; eg, it's all very well if you have the data backed up, and the application, and even your Win3.x disks - but where are you going to get Win3.x drivers for all the hardware in your shiny new PC...?? |
