#99562 - there is no such thing as a byte write, Responding to: ???'s previous message |
By the way, I am using the byte write command (R1 = 0x09) in my FlashRoutine.
there is no such thing as a byte write, what "byte write" is is an internal mechanism that (transparent to you) read a page of flash to a local RAM, accept your updates to the RAM, erases the page, and then writes the local RAM back to the page. If there now is a new form of flash that does not do "byte write" in the above fashion, but has "byte erase" and you can quote manufacturers litt on the subject, please post. Erik |
