I have NEVER seen a laptop with EARTH (PE) connection.
It was ALWAYS double-isolated (here: class II). Jan Waclawek PS. For the 1-off solution you undoubtly can afford a small ready-made DC/DC converter "brick" which would power the isolated part. |
