Didn't Erik mention this trick recently?
(sorry - couldn't find it). But yes - during any external memory access, the 16-bit address will be emitted on P0, P2 during the address phase, and there's no reason why your external hardware shouldn't interpret that as "data" - if you really want it to...! This would probably preclude any use of "real" external memory (RAM, ROM, etc), though... |
