the easiest way (i think) will be to memory map your 8255, that might be stress free.
You will have to add the Latch on P0 ( for lacthing the Address ) and use P0 for data. Connect the RD & WR of the 8051 to 8255, then use MOVX @DPTR,A to write to the 8255 and MOVX A,@DPTR to read from it. Otherwise refer to your datasheet, you might have missed some points on the datasheet. Regards Lehuma |
