According to my datasheet from the Intel Component Data Catalog of 1982 on page 9-353 shows the address and /cs stable before read or write with a setup time for tAW and tAR of 0nS but a hold spec of 20nS. When I saw the code that was my first assumption - it always pays to check! But I did notice that the rd or wr width may not be correct if the cpu is particularly fast. The spec is 300-400nS depending of the speed grade of the 8255 (8255-5). |
