Here is a Guide for hand soldering the SMDs.
one thing missing from the guide probably because the author could not think of doing without is use a board with a solder mask. One of my techies (I would never attept this myself) routinely solder prototype SMT boards with a failure rate of about 1 in 200 joints and he states "no solder mask - no can do". Erik |
