Hi all, I have used 89C/Sxx DIP packages for my previous projects. Now, I want to do some bigger projects which require both computationally efficient and highly integrated MCUs.
I found many derivates of MCS51 from various manufacturers catering my needs, but, all of them are in surface mountable packages. For instance, if I need a MCU with integrated AD converter, either I should use 'special packages' or I should end up with external AD converters. More components eat up the PCB space and cost goes high. For students/amateurs like me, using those packages require special instruments(like SMD solering stations) and professional PCBs. Could you suggest me a way for this? I have thought about this issue and this is perplexing for me. Thanks and Regards, Vignesh. |
