Dear Oleg,
I have read through your postings and the other reactions from fellow members. My sincere apologies if my post has been a source of irritation to you. I appreciate your perspective that a technical forum has no place for such "wishing threads". I had never viewed it in this angle and was just following the earlier precedents when members have issued such country specific Greetings ( and concern for national disasters like tsunami ). My personal opinion is that such interactions increase the bonding among members beyond a "technical level". For instance there have been 4 "Thank you" responses, not to mention some friendly jibes - well it was sheer pleasure to know that many have acknowledged my greeting. Personally, I am convinced that such a thread causes no harm. However, I will refrain from starting another such, purely out of respect to a fellow member's opinion.
