The device was created by Triscend. Xilinx bought Triscend and promptly closed them down and canned the product line. I had very good experience with Triscend but, being single-source obviously made the Xilinx intervention a major blow. The devices are now being made & sold by Zylogic, but I've not had much dealings with them. There's still the "single-Source" issue... Search here for "Zylogic" and "Triscend" for further details & links... Of course there are plenty of sources for for 8051 "cores" that you can put into your own FPGA; there's been some recent discussion - another search will soon find 'em |
