Kai I guess Ant is worried about taring out the reading of the 100 Ohm resistor from his PT100. I have actually found in practice, we can achieve 0.05 deg. precision (against national standards) with only modest components - INA 101 / OP-07 amplifier front end, PT100 Kelvin connection fed from an OP-07 based constant current source, all feeding ye olde MAX7109 ADC - all referenced against a ZN458 source. Drift, as monitored by the UK NAMAS calibration people has been well under 0.02 deg /year ! Steve |
