#95286 - adc's Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi guys thanks for the info that you have given so far but i have one more question i hope someone can help me with.
The question is with my thermometer i am trying to design as mentioned in the other replies in this topic. i was wondering with using a adc just to measure voltage directly across the pt100 rtd sensor. Would require a high resolution adc but if i used a wheatstone bridge and then measured the voltage on the output. a adc wiyh lower resolution would be ok. becasue with the wheatstone bridge output voltage is only needed to be to 1 decimal place but can measure resistance to quite few decimal places. so i was wondering what anyone thinks would be the best way to go |
