Some people realised that english is a living language,it changes , words change thier meanings all the time and new words enter the language all the time, fighting it or trying to insist that the way that a particular langauge is spoken at a perticular point in time is the only real way is simply futile.If you go back 6 or 7 hundred years english was a minority language spoken mostly by people in the north of what is now England, the rest was a mishmash of local dialects.In a few hundred years it will have become completely alien to anyone speaking it today. |
