Amazing. Dan posts a link to the comp.lang.c faq on this very topic then someone comes along and makes a completely misleading statement like that. The FAQ link is about why a pointer is not the same as an array; Neil's point is that, although pointers & arrays are different, they both use the same Notation. Sounds fair enough to me... |
