If SMOD (in PCON register) is 0, the reload value for 9600 Bd
must be FDh, or -3, as Mehdi wrote. If SMOD is 1, then double negative value should be taken, ie. -6, or 250. So the value that you chose is correct only if you set SMOD, otherwise you get the half of desired baud rate. Regards, Slobodan |
