Huff, today, I bought a new 2x16 module( this time it is Rs.200 for a module), but unfortunately forgot to take the power supply with me. I have informed the shopkeeper that, if this module doesnt work, then I will return it tomorrow. But to my good time, the "quick contrast check" is working , and I can see all of my first row pixels glowing. Thank you, Mehdi and Leo.
