If you have invented a stick working through the internet, hurry up and patent it :) I want to use this device to have a decent reset circuit for an 89C668 device + to have the possibility to reset manually by means of a reset button. See schematic below. ALE to a dog is NOT a watchdog, it is effectively disabling the watchdog function and making the 1232 a power on and reset button controller ONLY. That you can do with a tripod WD such as MAX6383. Erik |
