Hi Sushil,
You somehow seem to be stuck on this "8k" stuff. Since most of your responses seem to suggest that you have tried almost all the suggestions, I am keen to know what really is causing grief. One more attempt: Just write a simple code to toggle a LED and place it at an absolute address above the suspected 8k limit. Burn it in the flash and see what happens. Since you are using metalink assembler, I don't suppose that is your problem. To avoid any possible problem with your programmer, maybe you can try out FlashMagic as it uses the RS232 interface.
