hi friends,
the device(RTU)which measures the instantaneous values from an energy meter communicates to a scada server using gsm network,every company manufacturing RTU's implement there own protocol instead of IEC 101,the 8051 system will be a communicator between RTU and scada server,scada server operates on IEC101.for reference of IEC101 just type it in google.
